Hmm simply put, these are activities conducted for young ppl by young ppl to help them in the road of spiritual development. Strongly recommended for those who have minimal knowledge of Buddhism and would like to find out more! The ulitimate goal of all these activities is to help sentient beings find peace and happiness in their existence- that's the way i see it. No harm seeing more, questioning more and learning more. so true, so true. The perverse way innocent motives can be grossly mis-translated into malicious intentions...really causes much suffering for others and self. Communication is so important, but there are certainly some cases where it doesnt really help. heart is willing, but flesh is weak. lets just evolve further and send our thoughts to each other using brain waves (whatever they are) / telepathy/ psycho shit. but humans being humans, we are gonna blast each other's heads off after seeing the true intentions. oh dear oh dear. | | |
| random- date with annabella tmr. date with dyb girls on friday. eric u can dont come. we dont mind one. i was saying "hi, good morning!" to ppl i gave flyers to this morning. and at one point i realised i sounded so much like spongebob squarepants. quite amusing. first time in my life giving flyers! but i didnt feel awkward. looked forward to smiling and brightening up the otherwise-dreary day of Raffles place workers. oh and ive signed up for a movie screening cum talk on 15 march! "the truth about An Inconvenient Truth" who wants to go?!! Read much of Shen Shi'An's (the speaker) work, but havent had the chance to see the man himself. Who knows, he may just be that guy sitting at the next table at KMS canteen! muaha | | |
